Ich hab dich einen Augenblick,	I have left you for a moment,
O liebes Kind, verlassen;	o beloved child;
Sieh aber, sieh, mit großem Glück	see however, see, with great happiness
Und Trost ohn alle Maßen	and comfort beyond measure,
Will ich dir schon die Freudenkron	already with the wreath of joy
Aufsetzen und verehren;	I shall crown you and honor you,
Dein kurzes Leid soll sich in Freud	your brief sorrow into joy
Und ewig Wohl verkehren.	and eternal bliss shall be altered.
