Das dräuende Gesetz zu üben,	to practice the threatening law,
Ich habe meine Quittung hier	I have my exemption here
Mit Jesu Blut und Wunden unterschrieben.	endorsed with Jesus’ blood and wounds.
Dieselbe gilt,	This is enough,
Ich bin erlöst, ich bin befreit	I am released, I am freed
Und lebe nun mit Gott in Fried und Einigkeit,	and now live with God in peace and unity,
Der Kläger wird an mir zuschande,	the accuser will be ashamed before me,
Denn Gott ist auferstanden.	since God is arisen.
