Die Liebesmacht hat ihn bewogen,	Love’s power has stirred Him,
Daß er mir in der Gnadenzeit	so that in the time of grace,
Aus lauter Huld hat angezogen	out of pure love, He has clothed me
Die Kleider der Gerechtigkeit.	with the garments of righteousness.
Ich weiß, er wird nach diesem Leben	I know that, after this life,
