English translation

Der ewig reiche Gott
The ever bounteous God
Woll uns bei unserm Leben
wishes to give us in our lifetime
Ein immer fröhlich Herz
an ever joyful heart
Und edlen Frieden geben
and noble peace,
Und uns in seiner Gnad
and to sustain us in His grace
Erhalten fort und fort
from now on,
Und uns aus aller Not
and to save us from all suffering
Erlösen hier und dort.
