Heil und Segen	Health and blessing
Müß euch, wertes Paar, verpflegen,	Shall care for you, worthy pair,
Wie mein Fluss die Auen labt.	As my stream refreshes the meadows.
Sopran	Neisse
Und die Wonne, die ihr habt,	And the delight you share
Soll und wird sich mit Ersprießen	Shall spring forth
Reicher als mein Strom ergießen.	More richly than my stream gushes.
So werden	Pleisse and Neisse
die Wiegen,	Thus will
—die Seelen—	their cradles
mit Kindern,	—their souls—
—mit Wollust—	with children
geziert,	—with delight—
Und solches je länger, je lieber geführt.	be adorned,
	And the longer these are enjoyed, the dearer they will be.
