Ach! gehe nicht vorüber;	Ah, do not pass by;
Du, aller Menschen Heil,	You, the salvation of all humankind,
Bist ja erschienen,	Have appeared, yes,
Die Kranken und nicht die Gesunden zu bedienen.	To minister to the sick and not the healthy.
Drum nehm ich ebenfalls an deiner Allmacht teil;	Thus I, likewise, partake of your omnipotence;
Ich sehe dich auf diesen Wegen,	I look upon you in these paths
Worauf man	Where people
Mich hat wollen legen,	Wished to let me lie,
Auch in der Blindheit an.	Also in blindness.
Ich fasse mich	I compose myself
Und lasse dich	And will not let you go
Nicht ohne deinen Segen.	Without [receiving] your blessing.
