Herr Gott Vater, mein starker Held!	Lord God Father, my mighty champion!
Du hast mich ewig vor der Welt	Before the world began you loved me
In deinem Sohn geliebet.	in your Son.
Dein Sohn hat mich ihm selbst vertraut,	Your Son has betrothed me to himself,
Er ist mein Schatz, ich bin sein Braut,	He is my beloved, I am his bride,
