Sei Lob und Preis mit Ehren	Acclamation and praise with honor be
Gott Vater, Sohn, Heiligem Geist!	To God Father, Son, Holy Spirit,
Der woll in uns vermehren,	Who would increase in us
Was er uns aus Gnaden verheisst,	What he, out of mercy, promises us;
Dass wir ihm fest vertrauen,	That we may trust him steadfastly,
Gänzlich uns lass’n auf ihn,	Wholly leave ourselves over to him,
Von Herzen auf ihn bauen,	Rely on him from the heart,
Dass uns’r Herz, Mut und Sinn	That our heart, courage, and mind
Ihm festiglich anhangen;	May adhere steadfastly to him;
