Furcht	Fear
Ich furchte zwar des Grabes Finsternissen	I may fear indeed the darknesses of the grave
Und klagete mein Heil sei nun entrissen.	And would lament that my salvation [Jesus] has now been snatched away.

Hoffnung	Hope
Ich furchte nicht des Grabes Finsternissen	I may fear not the darknesses of the grave
Und hoffete mein Heil sei nicht entrissen.	And would hope that my salvation has not been snatched away.

Furcht; Hoffnung	Fear; Hope
Nun ist mein Herze voller Trost,	Now my heart is full of comfort, [however,]
Und wenn sich auch ein Feind erbost,	And even if an enemy rages,
Will ich in Gott zu siegen wissen.	I will know how to triumph in God.
