Ihm hab ich mich ergeben	I have given myself up to him
Zu sterben und zu leben,	To die and to live,
Sobald er mir gebeut.	As soon as he commands me.
Es sei heut oder morgen,	Be it today or tomorrow,
Dafür lass ich ihn sorgen;	I will let him take care of that;
Er weiss die rechte Zeit.	He knows the right time.
