French text

English translation

Flore; Pan

Flore; Pan

Rien ne peut échapper à sa sagesse extrême,
Nothing can evade his exceptional wisdom,
L’Orgueil est pour jamais à ses pieds abbattu.
Pride lies forever defeated at his feet.

About the text

  • Author: Joseph-François Duché de Vancy

Instrumentation

  • Flore (Soprano)
  • Pan (Basse)
  • Basse continue
