vom Lied der Nachtigallen;	with the song of the nightingales;
o Gott, wie schön ist deine Welt!	O God, how beautiful is your world!

2. Schön, wenn vom Abendtaue	2. Beautiful, when pearled with evening dew,
beperlet Wald und Aue	forest and field
in deinem Segen stehn;	bask in your blessing;
und wenn in Ungewittern	and when in the storm
die Donner sie erschüttern,	the thunder shakes them,
ist deine Welt, o Vater, schön.	your world, O Father, is beautiful.

3. Aus deiner Allmacht Fülle	3. Out of the fullness of your power
