Suchst du Vergnügen in den Schmerzen?	Do you seek pleasure in woe?

Phillis	Phillis
Ja, denn es reget sich	Yes, for an ancient woe
ein altes Leid in meinem Herzen	stirs in my heart,
und stellt mir den, den ich vordem verlor,	and shows me the one I once lost,
mit aller seiner Reizung vor.	in all his charm.
